I have some perfectionist qualities that sometimes get in the way of me doing things that I enjoy. Things like making this caption and posting this picture.

Wer zu spät ins Bett geht, zu wenig und schlecht schläft, verschenkt unglaublich viel Fortschritt. 
Guter Schlaf ist durch nichts zu ersetzen. Er ist unglaublich wichtig und elementar für optimale Regeneration. 
Aber was ist überhaupt guter oder gar perfekter Schlaf?

Klingt einfach, ist es oft aber nicht. 
Gut wäre, vor 23 Uhr ins Bett zu gehen, innerhalb von fünf Minuten einzuschlafen,
durchzuschlafen, morgens zwischen 6-8 Uhr von alleine aufzuwachen und sofort topfit und leistungsfähig zu sein!

Gerade das Einschlafen, Durchschlafen und die fehlende Energie am Morgen sowie über den Tag ist für viele alles andere als einfach.... Schon mit kleinen Stellschrauben lässt sich jedoch jeder einzelne Bereich optimieren.

Here’s my supplement stack, and here’s how I take it ..⬇️⬇️

Currently I’m in a fasted state til noon..
..
So first thing in the morning I wake up about 430 am and take all bulk no bloat. Possibly drink an energy drink. .
.
Till noon the only thing I have is water. 
At noon I have my lunch along with The Rut, The Stag Multivitamin, the organic greens, and the collagen.
..
Fast forward to 5 pm and a few meals later it’s gym time. ..
..
Before I change clothes I drink my pre workout, I rotate between Bamf, Bucked UP black, and Woke AF black. .
After I’ve finished changing I take the pump ocalypse mixed with the 6 point creatine.
.
.
About 10 min into my workout I start drinking my racked bcaas, but make sure not to finish it any earlier than 10-20 min before the end of my workout. .
.
.
Post workout I immediately take 5 sprays of deer antler spray, mix my protein and glutamine with water, drink that, then eat some fruit real fast!
.
.
And that’s how I use the muscle building stack and a few other supplements to help me recover! Recovery is key to building muscle especially when working a manual labor job on top of working out for 1-2 hours a day.

I felt like ass yesterday. And when it carried over into today I knew it was time for a refeed. The fact I dropped nearly 5 lbs in a week was a good indication as well. 
One of my favorite refeed meals is a smoked chicken bbq potato.  High carb and low fat is the objective with refeed. 
If it's been 5-7 days since the last time you've eaten a healthy amount of carbs and you cant seem to get the lead out of your ass, it may be time to replenish your glycogen stores.  It's not "cheating". Its nutrition.

We’ve made it this far. Everyone has been impacted…some more than others. Lives have been lost, sacrifices have been made, and entire industries have been flipped on their heads. By the grace of God we’ve made it this far and are starting to see the light. I am certain that we become more resilient after going through hard times. Bones get stronger as they are exposed to stress. Muscles get bigger as they are exposed to more weight. Damaged tissues create tough scar tissue. Pressure makes coal into diamonds. .

I want to congratulate you for getting this far and finding innovative ways to keep training through the worldwide lockdown. You’ve managed to continue on your journey, modify, and make your daily deposits anxiously waiting for those gym doors to open. For some, that day has come! The gym is finally open. Now what? .

Where do we go from here? What do we do first? Which exercises do we start with? How much weight? How many sets and reps? What RPE? Have we lost strength, skill, or muscle mass? How will we assess things like muscle damage and fatigue? How will that impact the decisions we make? .
.
Not having a plan can result in confusion and poor outcomes at best, and injury at worst. We don't want to return after all those months only to sustain an injury that could have been prevented with some proper planning and be forced to take even more time off. Injuries can keep us away from the iron for much longer than a controlled quarantine.

One area in my business is the programming and support for natural contestants wanting to comp prep. It takes a strong mind and powerful will to compete as a bodybuilder, not many can make it happen.
.
Hard to imagine what it takes.
.
Bodybuilding at any level, including purely working out to better your mental health, physical appearance and functional strength is a great model for life and will help you develop skills in the areas of focus, discipline, routine and goal setting.
.
You learn resilience, how to budget your time, to work hard, balance and specifically imbalance things in a productive way.
.
Our genetics don’t lend themselves to huge amounts of muscle over what is naturally occurring so to compete, plenty of hard work and patience is required, and as is so many natural athletes are unable to make it to the stage because they can’t handle the long game of the sport mentally.
.
When competing, the mind game is the true denominator of success, It’s such a huge part of really any sport once you get to a certain level. Only those with a strong mind are going to compete at a high level. Only those with a strong mind are going to win.
