🔥 Lat Burn From Hell 🔥

Throughout this whole pandemic, many aren’t able to come across very heavy weight or at least the amounts that they are use to.
.
You can still get a great burn even while working with “lighter” weight. These are a few tips 👇🏼
.
🏋🏼‍♂️ Increasing reps & sets
⏱ Adding in 1-5 sec tempo work
🤸🏼‍♂️ Isometric holds + Movement planes
.
The heaviest dumbbells I own are 40lbs. It’s definitely enough to get the job done even though I would typically use a larger weight for my row exercises.
.
Thus, instead of traditional rows, I thought about trying an exercise that actually got me out of the sagittal movement plane (front and back movements) and engage multiple muscle groups to add intensity.
.
Performing 20 DB Rows while in a side lunge was more than enough to ignite my lat muscles and get me sweating a bit!

Monday. Time to get your shit together and focus on the upcoming week. Some of you guys are starting to have your quarantines lifted and restrictions are starting to loosen.  Im in Michigan, we still have at least another half a month (if not more)

Did you know it takes 21 days to form a habit? There is still time to get yourself set up for your summer goals, summer bodies and overall health.

Start small. Don't set unrealistic or unreasonable goals. Do NOT crash diet. It will 100% set you up for a rebound and failure.

Get up and move. Drink water. Take your vitamins.

December to current. Sitting at 8.5/12.5 weeks out . 
180ish>160ish. Weight has been fluctuating quite a bit due to training,  water, etc. I will say the best thing I did for this prep was keeping a very clean offseason. I had my daughter last May so I immediately dieted post pregnancy to get my offseason body ready for prep. 
@warroomnutrition and I are working towards my goal of going pro. 
Questions I get asked repeatedly:

Has it been hard to adjust during quarantine? Yes. But not impossible,  reorganize and set up a new routine and keep consistent.

Has it been hard to find all the food I need for my diet? No. I'm on my staple foods of fish, rice, eggs, oats and @titannutrition whey isolate. 
Have I had a hard time getting my cardio in? No, I have a spin bike and stairmaster and always take my daughter for walks. 
Hardest thing during this prep? Obviously the show dates continually getting pushed back takes a toll mentally on not knowing when exactly I will step on stage but we are managing.
